Dr. Chirag Shah MD, MPH hosted a weekly financial planning series in 5 segments. Dr. Shah is a vitreoretinal surgeon at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston and the Co-Director of the Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship. He has recently co-authored a book on personal finance for physicians, “Financial Freedom Rx: The Physician’s Guide to Achieving Financial Independence.”

Dr. Ned Palmer, MD MPH hosted a 3-part financial literacy series that provides financial information to help prepare you for your entire career as a physician. As the Co-Founder of Panacea Financial, a national digital bank for physicians, residents, and medical students, Dr. Palmer is acutely aware of the financial struggles of medical trainees.
These sessions are problem-directed, with practical applicable interventions that you can start at any stage in your career - including as a student! Academically, Dr. Palmer is in the global health faculty at Boston Children's Hospital, as well as at Harvard Medical School in the Center for Bioethics.
