This session is required for all incoming students borrowing loans at HMS. Students who have not borrowed loans, but may borrow loans in future years are encouraged to attend.
A panel of 4th year students and residents from various fields will discuss how they made their specialty choices and the thought processes that were behind them.
The HMS Scholars in Medicine Excellence in Student Mentoring Award was established to recognize the value of quality mentoring relationships and the impact they have on student research and professional development. Graduating HMS students are invited to nominate their mentors and include a narrative of how the faculty member’s mentoring has affected their progress as a successful medical student.

The Specialty Interest Series, sponsored by Professor Anthony D’Amico, M.D., Ph.D., Advisory Dean and Director of the Holmes Society, and organized by the Academic Societies, is a career lunch seminar series that brings clinicians from affiliated hospitals to HMS to discuss different specialty areas.
