Dakota is the Diversity and Inclusion Manager in the Office of Recruitment Multicultural Affairs (ORMA) In this role, they will support LGBTQIA+ students during their time at HMS and beyond. In addition to their work with HMS, Dakota works nationally to improve child welfare systems alongside those with lived experience. Also, they teach at UMASS Boston in the Sociology Department and continue to trudge ever closer to their PhD in Social Policy from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis. They have been told they are quite serious but in a fun and goofy way, and when they aren't working, they enjoy spending time curled up on the couch with podcasts in their ears and playing video games. When they do leave the house, they enjoy looking at the sights and then swiftly returning home. They engage in too much true crime media but would love to discuss it more with anyone who has a passion for Keith Morrison.
