The HMS Program in Medical Education works to cultivate teaching excellence through effective training and support for faculty, residents and fellows who teach undergraduate medical students in the HMS MD program. Housed in the PME Office of Medical Education, the program on Faculty Development for Medical Educators leverages evidence-based pilot programs and best-practice research to identify and disseminate high-impact teaching practices. The Faculty Development office provides an array of online and multi-media resources as well as workshops, training programs and consultations to empower and support course and clerkship directors and teaching faculty across the HMS learning community to foster deep learning and high achievement in our students.
